Erik loves Queenstown and cooking kiwi food. After 30+ years' experience in the food industry and months of travelling the country sampling and experimenting with batter and cooking methods, Erik's bringing you only the best fish and chips!
Erik uses rice bran oil, made from sustainably grown rice, packed full of antioxidants and 100% cholesterol free. He is committed to sourcing local ingredients from potatoes grown in Timaru to fish from Dunedin, delivered daily to Queenstown.
Erik's family have faced food allergies and intolerances, so he wanted to find a way to bring all the flavour fish and chips, without the (stomach!) pain. Erik's fish and chips has a dedicated gluten free kitchen area, plus the majority of our food is 100% dairy free and we are nut free.
Try our delicious homemade kumara wedges, red onion wedges or our 100% meat hot dogs that have been crafted by Erik himself (with love!). If you're feeling adventurous, go wild with our deep fried kiwifruit or banana desserts.
